The information on this site is general

Our service pages, blog articles and FAQs describe restoration practice generally and are written to help you understand what is happening in your building. They are not a substitute for an on-site inspection of your specific property, and they are not legal, insurance or engineering advice.

Estimates and pricing

We do not publish prices for restoration work because the scope cannot be known without inspecting the property. Any figure discussed before an inspection is an illustration, not a quote.

Written estimates are provided after inspection and are valid for the period stated on them. Scope frequently changes once demolition reveals the true extent of a loss; where that happens we document it and issue a supplement before performing the additional work.

Response times

Our published response commitment of 60 to 90 minutes within Berkeley reflects normal operating conditions. During major storm events, regional emergencies, or periods of extreme call volume, response times may be longer. In those circumstances we will give you an honest estimated arrival time on the call rather than a standard one.

Insurance

We work with insurance carriers and offer direct billing, and we document losses to support your claim. We are not your insurer and we do not decide coverage. Coverage determinations are made by your carrier under your policy, and we cannot guarantee that any particular loss, scope item or cost will be approved.

We are not licensed public adjusters and we do not negotiate claims on your behalf in that capacity. Where a claim is disputed, we recommend consulting a licensed public adjuster or an attorney.

Licensing

We perform work as a licensed California contractor and as an IICRC-certified firm. Current licence and certification details are shown in the footer of this site. You can verify any California contractor licence through the Contractors State License Board.

The content, layout, graphics and code on this site are owned by Water Damage Berkeley Restoration Pros and protected by copyright. You may view and print pages for your own use. You may not reproduce, republish or use them commercially without written permission.
